The newer fields
Dr. Habtamu Mulugeta said the institute opened eleven fields last year to keep up with technology, naming these four:
- Artificial intelligence
- Cyber security
- Robotics
- Electric vehicles
The post does not list the other seven, or the fields added for this year.
The institute trains from the first degree up to the third, and its own statement says it is registering new trainees for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Its information week, which opened to visitors on Meskerem 14, 2019 E.C. (24 September 2026), was set up to present those fields.
What the announcement leaves open
- Who may register, what documents to bring and what it costs.
- Whether registration is in person at the campus or online.
- Whether the remedial intake, which the institute's own notice closed on Meskerem 15, is part of this registration. That intake is in the Federal TVT Institute takes remedial students in natural science until 25 September.
The institute's main campus is in Addis Ababa, about 500 metres past the Lamberet bus station on the road to Wesen. Its remedial notice gave the phone number 0116464455. Call before you travel.
