What is the support, and who is offering it?
Tikvah Ethiopia reported on Tikimt 14, 2019 E.C. (24 October 2026) that FAWE Ethiopia and FAWE Africa, working with the Mastercard Foundation, invite young people to apply for higher education support in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The support covers financial help, education and training, and social support. The STEM courses are delivered as regular level 4 and 5 programmes at the technical and vocational (TVET) colleges named in the report.
Which young people can apply?
The invitation is addressed to people aged 15 to 25. The report says the support is aimed especially at certain groups of young people, but those groups are not named in the text.
The report does not name the partner colleges either. It says the courses are offered at the colleges listed in the post, but that list is not in the text. Applicants should confirm with the FAWE office that the college they want is one of the partner colleges.
