What did the university announce?
Ethiopian Public Service University announced in a notice issued on Meskerem 8, 2019 E.C. (18 September 2026) that it would admit government-sponsored candidates to regular undergraduate study. Tikvah University and Tikvah Education both reported the university's update on Meskerem 29, 2019 E.C. (9 October 2026).
According to the university, some of these candidates sat its entrance exam on campus on Meskerem 27, 2019 E.C. (7 October 2026). Those who passed the exam have been admitted to the regular undergraduate programme, it said.
Which candidates does this affect?

The notice says the admitted candidates come from three regions. Their names are shown as an image rather than in writing. The posts do not give the number of candidates who sat the exam or how many were admitted.
