What has Woldia University announced?
The main registrar office of Woldia University has set first-year registration for Tikimt 9 and 10, 2019 E.C. (19 and 20 October 2026). Tikvah Education reposted the notice on Meskerem 28, 2019 E.C. (8 October 2026).
The notice says the university will not accept students who come before or after those two days. It also says that registration for students placed at the university for the 2019 remedial programme will be announced in a separate call, so those students should wait for that call.
Which students does the registration cover?
The registration covers two groups: first-year students newly placed at Woldia University by the Ministry of Education in 2019, and students who studied in the 2018 remedial programme at the university and received a passing result. The notice describes both groups in the same paragraph, so both register on the same two days.
Students placed at Woldia University for the 2019 remedial programme are not covered by these dates. The notice says their registration will be called separately, and the report does not say when that call will come.
