What has Arsi University asked students to do?
Tikvah University and Tikvah Education both posted the notice on Tikimt 7, 2019 E.C. (17 October 2026). It says Arsi University has told first-degree students placed there by the Ministry of Education from Tigray universities to report in person at its main registrar's office by Tikimt 10, 2019 E.C. (20 October 2026).
The notice refers to a list of names of the students concerned. How that list will be shared with students has not been announced.
Which students does this affect?
The notice concerns first-degree students whom the Ministry of Education placed at Arsi University in 2019 E.C. from universities in the Tigray region.
It does not say whether students placed from other regions, or at other universities, are affected.

Report in person by 20 October
Go to the main registrar's office at Arsi University in person no later than Tikimt 10, 2019 E.C. (20 October 2026).
Why were these students placed at Arsi University?
The notice says the Ministry of Education placed these students in 2019 E.C. from universities in the Tigray region. The posts do not explain why the placements were made, or which Tigray universities the students came from.
