What did the Ethiopian Police University announce?

Tikvah University reported on Tikimt 7, 2019 E.C. (17 October 2026) that the Ethiopian Police University (EPU) had told new civil candidates selected for its first-degree Police Science programme for the 2019 E.C. intake to report at the university's main campus in Sendafa. The reporting days it gave are Tikimt 14 and 15, 2019 E.C. (24 and 25 October 2026).

The announcement lists the documents to bring and says that the list of admitted students is attached to the original post. The report does not reproduce that list, so check your place on the original post or with the university.

02

Which candidates does this affect?

The call is addressed to new civil candidates selected for the first-degree Police Science programme in the 2019 E.C. intake.

Candidates who applied for remedial courses are also asked to bring their results from the university where they took those courses, so that group needs to prepare an additional document. The report does not say how many candidates were selected or whether other programmes are included.

03

When should you report, and what do you bring?

  1. Check your name

Before you travel, look for your name on the list attached to the original Tikvah University post, or ask the university directly.

  2. Prepare your documents

Gather your national ID, your certificates in original and copy, and your remedial results if you took remedial courses, before Tikimt 14, 2019 E.C.

  3. Plan the journey

Arrange travel to Sendafa for both reporting days, and confirm the hours and any fee through the university's own channels.

05

How did this call come about?

The report does not describe earlier decisions or previous intakes, and it does not say when the selection was made. The call is for the 2019 E.C. intake, and the reporting days fall in Tikimt, the second month of the Ethiopian year.
