What did Debre Tabor University announce?
Debre Tabor University announced on its own Telegram channel, on Tikimt 24, 2019 E.C. (3 November 2026), that registration for the 2019 E.C. academic year will be held on Hidar 10 and 11, 2019 E.C. (19 and 20 November 2026).
Tikvah Education reposted the same notice the same day, with identical text. The two posts agree on the dates and on the documents, so the figures in this story come from the university's own notice.
Which students does this affect?
The registration is for new students placed at Debre Tabor University for 2019 E.C. who passed the remedial programme cut-off. The notice does not say how the cut-off was set or how many students it covers.
Students placed in other years, and students who did not reach the cut-off, are not named in the notice and should check with the university before they plan to register.
When is registration, and what do you need?
| Day | Date in both calendars |
|---|---|
| First day of registration | Hidar 10, 2019 E.C. (19 November 2026) |
| Second day of registration | Hidar 11, 2019 E.C. (20 November 2026) |
Bring these to registration
- 8th grade certificate, original and copy
- 12th grade certificate, original and copy
- Grade 9 to 12 transcripts, original and copy
- Four photographs in 3×4 size
- Fayda digital ID
- Bedsheet, blanket, pillowcase and sports clothing
The notice does not give the venue, the registration hours or any fee. The university has not announced them in this notice, so check its channels before you travel.
What should you do now?
Gather your papers
Collect the certificates, transcripts, photographs and Fayda digital ID on the list, and make a copy of each certificate and transcript.
Check the venue and hours
The notice gives neither. Look for both on the university's own channel before you set out.
Plan for both days
Registration is held on 19 and 20 November 2026, so arrange your travel for both dates.
What came before this notice?
The notice follows the placement of students at Debre Tabor University for the 2019 E.C. year and the remedial programme's cut-off mark. The sources do not describe the placement list or any earlier decision on the cut-off, and the notice does not refer to one.
