What did Gondar University announce?
Gondar University announced that students placed by the Ministry of Education for its 2019 E.C. remedial programme should report on Hidar 1 and 2, 2019 E.C. (10 and 11 November 2026). Tikvah Education and Tikvah University both reported the notice on Tikimt 20, 2019 E.C. (30 October 2026).
According to the notice, classes are expected to begin on Hidar 4, 2019 E.C. (13 November 2026). Registration takes place at Atse Fasil campus for students of both the social science and the natural science streams.
Which students does this affect?
The notice is for students whom the Ministry of Education placed in the 2019 E.C. remedial programme at Gondar University. Because registration covers both the social science and the natural science streams, students from both streams report at Atse Fasil campus.
The reports do not say whether students placed at other universities or in other programmes are affected. The notice applies only to the Gondar placement it describes.

The notice does not give the registration hours, any fee, or what happens to a student who cannot report on the days named. The university has not announced these in the notice that either source reported.

Why are students reporting in November?
The Ministry of Education placed these students, and Gondar University set the report days. The reports do not say when the placement was made or which schools the students came from. They do say the programme is for 2019 E.C. and that both Tikvah outlets reported the notice on Tikimt 20, 2019 E.C. (30 October 2026).
