What did the university announce?
Tikvah Education reported on Meskerem 28, 2019 E.C. (8 October 2026) that Jigjiga University had announced a registration window for new students and for first-year students who completed remedial classes. Tikvah University's channel carried the same notice on the same day.
Both posts ask students to submit their documents online at the university portal, using their admission number. Tikvah Education's post also asks students to come in person to finish their registration. Neither post explains how the in-person visit and the online upload fit together.
Which students does this affect?
The notice covers new students assigned to Jigjiga University for 2019 E.C. and first-year students who completed remedial education there. Neither post names other grades, faculties or regions.
Students who miss the window are not registered, and they do not get the university's services until they finish. Tikvah Education's post adds that the online registration must be completed before a student ID can be prepared.

Find the admission number the university gave you. You need it to log in to the portal and submit your documents.
Prepare your documents
Gather the certificates, photographs and bedding listed above, and make copies of your certificates before registration begins.

How does this registration fit with admission?
The sources do not describe what came before this notice. Both posts treat registration as the step that follows admission: students assigned to the university for 2019 E.C. and students who passed remedial classes must complete it in the window.
