When and where does registration take place?
Wachemo University has announced that registration for the 2019 E.C. academic year runs on Tikimt 9 and 10, 2019 E.C. (19 and 20 October 2026). Tikvah Education and Tikvah University each posted the same notice on Meskerem 28, 2019 E.C. (8 October 2026), and both say the university made the announcement.
The place of registration depends on the group. New first-degree students are divided by surname, while students who passed remedial classes in 2018 E.C. register at the campus where they took those classes.
Which students does this affect?
The notice covers two groups. The first is new regular first-degree students assigned to Wachemo University for 2019 E.C. The second is students who completed remedial classes at Wachemo in 2018 E.C. and reached the pass mark.
- New first-degree students with surnames from A to M: Hosanna main campus
- New first-degree students with surnames from N to Z: Durame campus
- 2018 E.C. remedial pass students: the campus where they took remedial classes
The entry time for students newly assigned to remedial programmes for 2019 E.C. has not been announced. The university says it will give that time in a separate notice.

The notice does not say which day each group registers on, so ask the campus before you travel.

- Grade 8 and grade 12 certificates, original and copy
- Grade 9 to 12 transcript, original and copy
- Six passport photographs, 3 by 4 size
- Fayda ID
- Bedsheet, blanket, pillowcase and sports clothes
The registration fee and the hours of each registration day have not been announced.
What should you do first?
Find your campus
Compare your surname with the A to M and N to Z split. If you took remedial classes in 2018 E.C., confirm the campus where you studied.
Prepare your documents
Gather the certificates, transcripts, photographs, Fayda ID and bedding listed above, with originals and copies.
Register on the dates
Go to your campus on Tikimt 9 or 10, 2019 E.C. (19 or 20 October 2026), and ask the registration office which day applies to you.
What came before this notice?
The sources do not describe an earlier decision on this intake or last year's registration figures, so this notice stands on its own. Its one rule for returning students is that those who passed remedial classes in 2018 E.C. register at the campus where they studied.
Students newly assigned to a remedial programme for 2019 E.C. should watch for the separate notice the university has promised.
