What did Samara University announce?

Tikvah Education reported on Tikimt 6, 2019 E.C. (16 October 2026) that Samara University had announced the registration period for its first-year students. The post reproduces the university's notice, which was issued by the Registrar and Alumni Directorate.

The registration period runs from Tikimt 12 to 13, 2019 E.C. (22 to 23 October 2026). It covers two groups: new students placed at the university after passing the national Grade 12 exit exam for the 2018 academic year, and students who passed the university's remedial programme in 2018.

02

Which students does this affect?

The notice is addressed to regular first-year students at Samara University. Two groups are named: new students placed there after passing the 2018 national exit exam, and students who passed the 2018 remedial programme at the university.

Students newly placed in the remedial programme for 2019 are not covered by these dates. The notice does not say whether students in other years register on the same days.

03

When do you register, and what do you bring?

Second dayTikimt 13, 2019 E.C. (23 October 2026)

The notice does not give the hours, a registration fee or the building where registration takes place. None of these has been announced in the notice Tikvah Education reported.

Documents to bring

  • Grade 8 completion certificate, original and photocopy
  • Grade 12 certificate, original and photocopy
  • Grade 9 to 12 transcripts, original and photocopy
  • National ID (Fayda) and tax identification number (TIN)
  • Eight 3 by 4 passport photos
  • Bedsheet, blanket, pillowcase and sports clothing

The university has urged students to bring these items with them on registration days.

  1. Gather your documents

Prepare the certificates, transcripts, ID and photos listed above, and keep an original and a photocopy of each paper.

  2. Plan your journey

Arrange to be at Samara University on Tikimt 12 and 13, 2019 E.C. (22 and 23 October 2026).

  3. Watch for remedial dates

If you were newly placed in a remedial programme, wait for the entry time the university has said it will announce later.

05

Why are the remedial dates still open?

The notice separates the two groups. Students who passed the 2018 remedial programme at Samara University have their dates in this notice, while students newly placed in the 2019 remedial programme have had their entry time left for a later announcement. The notice does not give a reason for the different timing.
