What has Ambo University announced?
Ambo University announced that registration for the 2019 E.C. academic year will take place on Tikimt 16 and 17, 2019 E.C. (26 and 27 October 2026). Tikvah University and Tikvah Education carried the same notice on Telegram on Tikimt 4, 2019 E.C. (14 October 2026), with matching wording.
The notice covers two groups. The first is first-year students assigned to Ambo University for 2019 E.C. The second is students who took their 2018 E.C. remedial courses at Ambo and reached a passing result.
Which students does this affect?
The notice names two groups and no others: first-year students newly assigned to Ambo for 2019 E.C., and 2018 E.C. remedial students who passed at Ambo.
Where you register depends on your field of study. Social science students register at the main campus, and natural science students register at the Haachalu Hundessa campus. The notice does not say what happens to students in other fields or at other universities.
