What did Aksum University announce?
Tikvah University and Tikvah Education both reported on Tikimt 4, 2019 E.C. (14 October 2026) that Aksum University has set its entry days for new and returning regular undergraduate and postgraduate students. Those days are Tikimt 24 and 25, 2019 E.C. (3 and 4 November 2026).
According to the university, registration can only be done by attending in person. Registration on someone else's behalf is not allowed.
Which students does this affect?
The entry days apply to new students placed at Aksum University and to returning regular undergraduate and postgraduate students. The notice also says that students who followed the university's remedial programme in 2018 and achieved a passing result register on the same entry days.
Extension students are a separate group. All returning undergraduate and postgraduate extension students register on Tikimt 28 and 29, 2019 E.C. (7 and 8 November 2026).
