What did Bonga University announce?
Bonga University has announced that registration for the 2019 academic year will take place on Tikimt 5 and 6, 2019 E.C. (15 and 16 October 2026). Tikvah University and Tikvah Education both reported the notice in Telegram posts dated Meskerem 27, 2019 E.C. (7 October 2026).
The two posts carry the same notice, with a list of required documents. Neither post names a registration venue, a fee or the hours of each day.
Which students does this affect?
The registration is for two groups. The first is regular first-degree students newly placed at Bonga University for 2019 E.C. The second is students who followed their remedial programme at Bonga University in 2018 E.C. and gained a pass result.
The notice does not mention students in other programmes or other years, so students outside these two groups should check with the university.
When is registration, and what must you bring?
| Day | Date in both calendars |
|---|---|
| First registration day | Tikimt 5, 2019 E.C. (15 October 2026) |
| Second registration day | Tikimt 6, 2019 E.C. (16 October 2026) |

The notice does not give the registration venue, a fee or the daily hours. The posts do not say whether a fee is charged at all.
What should you do before the registration days?
Gather originals and copies
Collect the grade 8 card, the grade 9 to 12 transcript and the grade 12 certificate, with a copy of each.
Prepare photographs and your Fayda ID
Have six 3X4 photographs and your Fayda ID ready for both registration days.
Watch for the venue and hours
Follow Bonga University's own channels for the venue, any fee and the hours, which the posts did not give.
What came before this notice?
The posts describe this as the registration for the 2019 academic year. They do not give an earlier decision behind it, the number of students placed at Bonga University, or how many remedial students passed in 2018 E.C.
